High school football: Jeffrey guides Bulldogs past Titans

Folsom quarterback Jake Jeffrey throws four of his five touchdown passes in the first half as the No. 1 Bulldogs defeat the No. 18 Titans 56-20 in a nonleague game in South Sacramento. Folsom outscored Burbank 42-6 after the score was tied 14-14 in the first quarter.

High school football: Tenette breaks free for Highlands

Highlands quarterback Isaiah Tenette amassed 839 rushing yards in the first three games of the season. Then, the Natomas Nighthawks hold him to minus-five yards into the fourth quarter of Friday night’s nonleague matchup, but an 80-yard touchdown run erases that red number in a hurry, and Tenette will take these numbers – a 37-25 final score – any day over the individual stats.
