Kings: At home in their old Kentucky home

It’s a happy Rupp Arena reunion for former Kentucky players Rajon Rondo, DeMarcus Cousins and Willie Cauley-Stein as the Kings beat the New Orleans Pelicans 107-98 in front of an announced crowd of 19,183 to finish the preseason 5-1.

College football: Hornets blanked in Utah

Sacramento State suffers its sixth straight loss, a 44-0 shellacking at the hands of host Southern Utah. The Hornets are overwhelmed in almost every facet and fall to 1-6 for the season, 0-4 in the Big Sky Conference.
