A’s tickets to first MLB game in West Sacramento are sold out. Here’s how you can still go
Tickets for the Athletics Opening Day game in West Sacramento have sold out, but baseball fans still seeking to catch the home opener can grab available lawn seats at Sutter Health Park.
More than 74,000 people registered for the chance to purchase tickets for the first Major League Baseball game in the Sacramento area, the A’s announced Wednesday in a news release.
Single-game tickets for the remainder of A’s home games will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
Single-game tickets for the A’s March 31 home opener against the Chicago Cubs went on sale Tuesday morning. The A’s said those who were selected for the purchase opportunity were notified in the morning, and the tickets were sold out by that evening.
The Opening Day advance tickets are no longer available, but the A’s will sell $25 tickets for 250 lawn seats for all 81 regular season home games, including the March 31 opener versus the Cubs. Those lawn seats will be sold on the day of each game.
The A’s said they will share more details about day-of-game tickets as the start of the MLB season approaches.
The A’s are playing three seasons starting in 2025 at Sutter Health Park, home to the minor-league Sacramento River Cats. The team then plans to relocate in 2028 to a near permanent stadium in Las Vegas.
