Take a stunning first look at Railyards soccer stadium in new flyover video

As Wilton Rancheria and Sacramento Republic FC marked the beginning of construction on a new soccer stadium at the downtown Railyards this week, the USL Championship club released a spectacular new fly-through video showcasing off the team’s expected $175 million, 12,000-seat home.

The video, based on renderings, reveals the unique elements of the stadium — including a Supporters’ Plaza, rooftop club with views of the city’s skyline, a park-like eastern concourse, open-air public-market, beer garden and west tower, according to the club.

The stadium, set to open in 2027, is being built to expand to MLS requirements needed for a Republic FC jump from the USL to the top-tier soccer league.
