These toys are scary cute

The Art of Toys exhibit features monsters and things that go bump in the night Saturday at 1126 18th St.

Items include dolls by Oregon artist Marca Castillo; original monster paintings and cardstock of scary clowns by resident artist Cinder; new wild monsters and zombies finger puppets by Chicago artist Dan Crowley; rubber sculpture monsters by T. Oliver Kopian of Creatures Delight from New York; and Terri Rehg’s original soft sculpture monsters.

Artie Annette offers a free art project for all ages.

The event runs from 5:30 p.m. until dark.
