‘Spirited’ summer night in the cemetery

What better way to cool off on a hot August night than with a few chills? Spine-tinglers await in Sacramento’s Historic City Cemetery. Starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 take a summer evening stroll through the tombstones, monuments and gardens in search of signs from the afterlife. Titled “Beyond the Veil,” this guided tour focuses on spiritualism and the occult with special guests – if the spirits are willing. Admission is $10 donation (cash only).
