Couple says cat sanctuary was the purr-fect place for a wedding

Louise Veronneau and Dominic Husson love cats so much that they traveled from Montreal to California so they could get married at a cat sanctuary.

There were hundreds of felines in attendance when the couple got married at The Cat House on Kings in Parlier, Calif., near Fresno.

“We don’t have that in Canada,” Veronneau said of the sanctuary.

Owner Lynea Lattanzio served as officiant for the May 17, 2016, ceremony and said it was the first wedding held there.

Instead of gifts, Veronneau and Husson requested donations be made to the sanctuary.
