KCRA3 reporter leaving station for South Carolina anchor role
The curtain is closing on KCRA3 reporter Dana Griffin's time in Sacramento.
Griffin's last day at the station will be March 8, she announced in an Instagram post Tuesday. She's headed to Greenville, South Carolina, where she'll be a morning weekend anchor for fellow NBC affiliate WYFF.
A Georgia native, Griffin began her on-air career in 2012 with NBC affiliate KIEM in Eureka after graduating from Clark Atlanta University.
She then moved back east to work as a reporter and fill-in anchor in Providence, Rhode Island, where she covered a historic New England blizzard and the Aaron Hernandez murder trial before coming to KCRA in 2015.
