The curtain is closing on KCRA3 reporter Dana Griffin's time in Sacramento.

Griffin's last day at the station will be March 8, she announced in an Instagram post Tuesday. She's headed to Greenville, South Carolina, where she'll be a morning weekend anchor for fellow NBC affiliate WYFF.

JOB PROMOTION: Today, is bittersweet because I get to share where I’m heading next in my career. However, it comes with a little sadness because I’m leaving Sacramento. From great weather to amazing people—this city is so unique and special! It means the world to know that you’ve trusted me with your concerns, hopes and dreams, tragedies and life celebrations. I take the responsibility as a journalist very seriously and I hope that I’ve made an impact during my time here. Please send me some positive vibes as I take on a new role and responsibility as morning Weekend Anchor at our HEARST sister station @wyffnews4 in Greenville, SC. I'm so excited to join another amazing community and be much closer to my family in Atlanta. My last night reporting for @kcranews is March 8th. This isn’t goodbye, just a see you later!
