Sunday morning fire consumes four vehicles and damages three units
A two alarm fire on the 8800 block of La Riviera Drive consumed four vehicles and damaged three apartments Sunday morning, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District’s spokesman said.
Captain Chris Vestal said the cause of the fire is under investigation. It began on the exterior of the building around 6:20 a.m., he said. People were in some of the units, but they managed to get out with no injuries.
Sacramento Fire Department personnel helped douse the fire, Vestal said.
