Amber Alert issued for missing child, mother from Guerneville
Authorities issued an Amber Alert this afternoon as they search for a Guerneville infant believed to have been abducted by his mother.
Henry Massey is described as a white 7-month-old boy with brown hair and grey eyes.
His mother, Hannah Ashley, is a 35-year-old white female described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen driving a silver 2005 Suburu Forrester, license plate number 5JKZ255.
Massey’s grandmother called the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday morning to report that her grandson was taken from a crib in her home, according to a Sheriff’s Office release. She has legal custody of Massey and believes Ashley took the boy.
The Sheriff’s Office said the child is not believed to be in danger. Ashley allegedly threatened to take her child back during recent visits.
The Amber Alert was sent directly to cell phones in the Sacramento area shortly after 3 p.m.
Authorities ask that you contact the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office at 707-565-2121 with any information.
