Police still looking for leads in Friday's Meadowview shooting

The Sacramento County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of Friday afternoon's shooting in the Meadowview area.

Joseph Coln, 34, was shot near 24th Street and Meadowview Road. Officers found him at 1:21 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital but died from his injuries.

The shooting occurred between two vehicles, said police spokesman Sgt. Vance Chandler. Police canvassed the area Friday, looking for witness and surveillance video. No arrests had been made as of Monday evening.
