These 15 downtown properties will pay the highest taxes for a streetcar line
Sacramento is asking major downtown commercial property owners if they are willing to tax themselves annually to help pay the costs of operating a four-mile streetcar line, if one is built.
The Sacramento Kings and partners, among the biggest developers in downtown Sacramento, have two properties on the list: Golden 1 Center, which the city owns but the Kings operate, and the nearby Sawyer hotel and condo tower.
