Eastbound light-rail service has resumed from Sunrise to Folsom ahead of the afternoon commute, while the westbound train from Folsom to Sunrise should be back up shortly after a breakdown, according to a Regional Transit update posted at 1:40 p.m. Thursday.

The eastern end of the Gold Line was shut down during the Thursday morning commute due to an overhead wire issue, a Sacramento Regional Transit spokeswoman said.

The train was shut down at roughly 7:20 a.m., and crews are working to fix the issue. Regional Transit has set up a bus to take commuters from the Historic Folsom station to the Sunrise station.
