Kyle Larson’s fantastic Daytona 500 run fumes out at the end

Kyle Larson nearly raced away with NASCAR’s most-coveted race trophy.

The Elk Grove native took the white flag Sunday in the 59th Daytona 500 but ran out of fuel before reaching the finish line.

Larson settled for 12th place in a race won by Kurt Busch.
