Isaiah Thomas continues to shine despite dark times.
The Boston Celtics’ All-Star guard scored a career-high 53 points Tuesday in a 129-119 overtime victory over the visiting Washington Wizards in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
What’s significant about the performance is that he did it on what would have been his sister’s 23rd birthday. Chyna Thomas was killed in a auto accident on April 15 in Washington state.
