New hot dog chain, with plant-based option, is coming to the Sacramento area. Find out where
A new, edgy hot dog chain will open its first location in Northern California this month.
Dog Haus Biergarten is set to debut in west Roseville in early March, according to Champion Management, a public relations firm representing the franchise.
The restaurant features sausages, chicken sandwiches and burgers, all served on toasted King’s Hawaiian rolls. It also serves breakfast burritos, beer and cocktails, and ice cream.
Some of its menu items include a “SoooCali” dog, which has arugula, avocado, tomato, crispy onions and a basil aioli, or the “Chili the Kid” dog, dressed with white American cheese, chili, crispy onions and chipotle ailoli.
Entrees range from $8 to $12.
“The location offers 20 beers, two nitro beers, and two wines on tap!,” said McKenzie Karnes, a spokesperson for the franchise in an email. “There is a great new patio that seats almost 28 people. There are 10 TV’s offering a lot of entertainment and a great place to come watch your favorite game!”
The restaurant also serves Beyond Meat, a plant-based alternative, that can be substituted in many of their offerings.
“Dog Haus is also in partnership with the Impossible Shop offering plant-based burgers, chicken nuggets, burritos and more prepared in Dog Haus Restaurant facilities,” Karnes said.
The new restaurant will open in the Campus Oaks Town Center on Blue Oaks Boulevard, across the parking lot from Nugget Market.
Dog Haus has 90 locations nationwide.
