Here are 6 things to try in Sacramento this weekend: Ice skating, window smashing, more

Celebrate the end to another week and blow off some steam with an adventure-filled weekend.

Enjoy a thrill-seeking three-day guide without tentative dates and times. That means, mix and match as many activities as you can fit on your calendar or even visit a location more than once this weekend (we aren’t judging).

Here are six things you can try in Sacramento this weekend:

1. Break a sweat at a climbing gym

Join an introduction to climbing class at Sacramento Pipeworks. The one-hour climbing class will teach you the quickest way to rope up and get climbing. Walk away with basic skills needed to start rope climbing like how to secure your harness, catch a fall and more.

Weekend schedule: 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. classes Fridays, noon and 2 p.m. classes on Saturdays and Sundays

Price: Free for members, $40 for non-members

2. Spend the afternoon at Top Golf

1700 Freedom Way, Roseville

Grab the entire family and head to Top Golf in Roseville for an Angry Birds-inspired game of golf. Use the Angry Birds character golf balls to smash through down structures, defeat pigs and earn as many points and stars as possible.

New players must pay a $5 one-time member fee. Healthcare workers and teachers can play for a discounted price.

Anyone under 16 must be supervised by a guest 21 or older at all times. Anyone under 18 must be supervised by a guest 21 or older after 9 p.m.

3. Spin at the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink

6. Ride the Waterfront Wheel

Take in the view of the city on the 65-foot Waterfront Wheel at the new park in Old Sacramento. Riders must be at least 44 inches tall to ride. Riders must also be in the same household in each open-air cart, which holds up to four people.

Masks are required.

Weekend Schedule: noon to 10 p.m., Friday through Sunday
