CA State Fair adds ‘feel-good’ reggae band to concert lineup. Who else is coming?

The latest act to join the California State Fair’s 2025 concert lineup is a platinum-selling reggae rock band with “infectious energy and feel-good rhythms,” organizers announced.

Dirty Heads will perform on the fair’s main stage on Wednesday, July 16, as part of the Toyota Concert Series, fair organizers said in a Monday news release.

The 17-day event will also feature food, carnival rides and agriculture competitions.

“Since 2001, Dirty Heads have blended hip-hop, reggae, and rock to create a sound that embodies their Southern California roots and resonates worldwide,” the release said, recording hit songs such as “Vacation” and “Lay Me Down.”

“Dirty Heads brings the kind of energy that’s made for fun summer nights at the fair,” Tom Martinez, CEO of the California Exposition & State Fair, said in the release.
