A man was arrested after he was accused of bringing an “AR-15-style” firearm into a pizza shop in California, police said.

While the 20-year-old was in the Little Caesars in Ontario, he displayed a firearm that was in the “waistband of his pants,” the Ontario Police Department said in a release.

Officers arrived as the man was leaving the store with stolen food and “a large rifle” in his shirt, according to police.

They told the man to put his hands in the air, but he did not comply, police said. Officers then used a Taser on the suspect.

The man also had a 9mm polymer handgun, police said. He was arrested and faces robbery and firearm charges.

Officers and customers were not injured, the release said.

Ontario is about 40 miles east of Los Angeles.
