One of Sacramento’s Michelin-rated restaurants is getting ready to open its new location later this month in Land Park.

The Kitchen — a six-course dinner restaurant with a prix fixe menu — announced its move from Arden Arcade to Land Park in December.

The restaurant’s last day of service in Arden Arcade was July 23, said to Josh Nelson, head of Selland Family Restaurants. He confirmed the new location at 915 Broadway in Land Park is scheduled to open Aug. 10.

The new location will neighbor the Selland Market Cafe, another restaurant owned by the Selland Family. Under the same ownership is also Ella Dining Room and Bar.

Reservations for The Kitchen opened July 31, but the books are filled through the end of the year. You can still get on a wait list through The Kitchen’s reservation website.

The Kitchen earned a Michelin star in 2019 and has retained it every year since.
