Downtown Sacramento hotel closes for emergency repairs. It is unclear when it will reopen
The Hyatt Centric Downtown in Sacramento is shutting down operations for emergency repairs.
According to an announcement on their website, the hotel on the corner of 7th and L streets has “temporarily suspended” all operations to complete the repair. The announcement does not include what is being repaired nor a date or time on when operations will be back up and running.
Hotel representatives were unavailable to comment Thursday morning.
The 7th Street Standard, an in-hotel restaurant open seven days a week, will remain open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, according to the announcement.
Before its latest incarnation, the site was the home of the Hotel Marshall, which was demolished in 2019 — its facade was rescued and incorporated into the current 172-room hotel.
The Hyatt Centric is asking hotel guests with questions regarding their upcoming stay to call its customer service line at 888-524-9288.
