The San Francisco Giants will bring their 2025 FanFest tour to the Sacramento area on Feb. 1 with a visit to Sutter Health Park, where both the minor league Sacramento River Cats, who are affiliated with the Giants, and the major league Athletics will be based for the next few years.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and feature appearances from Giants players including second baseman Tyler Fitzgerald, outfielders Grant McCray and Heliot Ramos, pitcher Logan Webb and of course, mascot Lou Seal. They will be meeting fans, signing autographs, answering questions and more, the Giants said on their website. Giants merchandise will also be available.

The tour also includes a stop in San Jose on Jan. 25, and an open house at Oracle Park in San Francisco on March 8. It kicked off yesterday with a stop in Napa.

Sacramento is uniquely positioned to host two major Northern California rivalries at Sutter Health Park, as the Triple-A River Cats play as members of a team connected with the Giants, while the Athletics, formerly of Oakland, make the field their home for the next three years while a new stadium is built for them in Las Vegas.

Fans on any side of the rivalry can register and obtain tickets for the free event on the Giants website.
