A Bay Area-based bakery chain known for its bagels is expanding its presence in the Sacramento area with six new locations.
The Posh Bagel said new shops are “coming soon” to a total of five cities throughout the capital region, according to the company’s website.

What is The Posh Bagel?
More than 30 years ago, The Posh Bagel opened its first retail store on the Peninsula in the Bay Area, according to its website.
Since then, the company has expanded to more than 20 locations across California, including a wholesale site.
“People have been the core of our business and food is our passion,” The Posh Bagel said on its website. “We’d like to express a special thanks to our customers. We are filled with gratitude for your loyal patronage.”
What’s on the menu?
According to The Posh Bagel’s website, menus slightly vary based on location in order to “meet local tastes.”
The company advised customers to contact their local store for a complete breakfast, lunch and catering menu,.
Menus are also available on DoorDash, UberEats and Square, The Posh Bagel’s website said.
At The Posh Bagel’s Roseville location, menu options include breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches and pizza bagels — all featuring the bakery chain’s signature bagels.
Sandwich options range from chicken salad and a pastrami melt to a Sub Club sandwich with turkey, cheese, avocado and veggies.
The bakery also offers a variety of pastries, including cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissants and muffins.
Drink options include coffee drinks, bubble tea, juice and soda.
Where are new Sacramento-area locations?
A total of six new Sacramento-area locations were listed “coming soon” on The Posh Bagel website as of Wednesday.
The Posh Bagel plans to open shops in the following cities, according to the website:

▪ El Dorado Hills
▪ Folsom
▪ Granite Bay
▪ Rancho Cordova
The company did not list addresses for the new Sacramento-area sites on its website. However, two El Dorado locations were indicated.
When will Northern California bakery shops open?
As of Wednesday, The Posh Bagel had not announced exact opening dates for its six locations in the Sacramento region.
