Jack’s Urban Eats is opening a new restaurant in Carmichael in northern Sacramento County.

What is Jack’s Urban Eats?
Jack’s Urban Eats has been serving up “farm-fresh, affordable meals in an eclectic, laid back atmosphere” since it was established in Sacramento in 1998, the company said on its website.
The fast-casual restaurant chain has a total of 11 locations in Northern California, including nine in the Sacramento area.
What’s on the menu at Sacramento restaurant chain?
Jack’s Urban Eats serves “made-to-order” dishes, including sandwiches, salads, plates, sides, and a kid’s menu, according to the restaurant’s website.
Signature dishes include fried chicken, barbecue tri-tip and New York-style Reuben sandwiches.
The restaurant chain’s popular club sandwich features your choice of turkey or chicken with Swiss cheese, bacon, avocado, leaf lettuce, red onion and tomato on a sourdough roll.
Also on the menu are “salads featuring seasonal vegetables and house-made dressings,” with proteins including chicken, steak and salmon, the company said on its website. “Signature carved meats and comfort food side plates pay homage to the traditional home-cooked meal.”
Jack’s Urban Eats offers side dishes such as mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and market veggies, along with a soup of the day and baked cheese bread.
Where’s the new Sacramento-area location?
The newest Jack’s Urban Eats location will be inside Carmichael Village shopping center at the intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Manzanita Avenue in Carmichael.
The shopping center is anchored by Bel Air, Dollar Tree and Ace Hardware stores.
An official opening date had yet to be determined as of Monday.
