Pedestrian struck by car in critical condition after crash in south Sacramento
A pedestrian is in critical condition after an early morning collision on Sheldon Road near Elk Grove, said Sacramento police officials.
The person was struck by a vehicle just after 6 a.m. on Sheldon near West Stockton Boulevard. The intersection is in the far southeast of Sacramento near the Elk Grove city limits.
The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene following the collision and was cooperating with officers, Sacramento police said.
