The Sacramento Bee recently asked local readers to nominate their prettiest kitties for our cutest cat contest.
After an initial round of voting, 10 furry finalists remain in the running. Only one lucky kitty will win the title of cutest cat — and a feature story on The Bee’s website.

How long will voting last for Bee pet photo contest?
Round 2 of voting ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27.
The winner will be announced on Monday, Nov. 3, on SacBee.com. We plan to write a feature story on the top cat that will be filled with adorable photos.
Cutest cat and dog contests are taking place at more than 20 McClatchy newspapers across the United States.
The winners from each market will automatically be entered into a second contest to determine the Cutest Cat and Cutest Dog in the country, launching Monday, Nov. 10.
