Roseville’s first outdoor ice skating rink to bring winter cheer to Vernon Street
Roseville will open its first outdoor ice rink this winter, transforming Vernon Street Town Square into a seasonal attraction starting Dec. 7.
The Downtown Roseville Ice Rink, presented by Kaiser Permanente, will operate daily through Jan. 4, except on Christmas Day. The rink is located at 311 Vernon St., and marks a new addition to the city’s holiday offerings.
The rink will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday hours will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each skating session lasts one hour.
Admission is free for children 5 and under. Tickets for children under 13 is $10 and general admission is $18. Skate rentals are included. Additional processing fees may apply.
Tickets go on sale Nov. 3, according to the Downtown Roseville Partnership, which is organizing the event.
Organizers expect the rink to draw thousands of visitors during its inaugural season.
“This exciting new attraction will draw thousands to the city center – uniting families, friends, and visitors for a season filled with fun, connection, and winter cheer,” the Downtown Roseville Partnership said. “Enjoy festive decor, music, laughter, and community spirit as you make memories that will last a lifetime.”
