FBI seeks suspect involved in 4 bank robberies, including Davis and El Dorado Hills

The same suspect may be behind four bank robberies in Davis, El Dorado Hills and Yuba City in recent months, the FBI said this week.

FBI’s Sacramento office on Monday posted a composite sketch of the suspect, who has also been seen in surveillance camera images during some of those robberies. He is described as a white male between 20 and 30, 5-foot-7 with a slight build, who has been seen wearing hooded sweatshirts, a baseball cap, dark basketball shorts and black shoes.

The reported bank robberies happened Nov. 23 in Davis; Nov. 27 in Yuba City; and Jan. 2 and Feb. 15 in El Dorado Hills, the FBI said in a news release.

Each robbery involved the suspect entering the bank, presenting a demand note and leaving with undisclosed amounts of cash, according to the FBI news release.

El Dorado Sheriff’s Office detectives previously linked the two El Dorado Hills robberies — both at the US Bank location on White Rock Road — to the same suspect described by the FBI. Sheriff’s officials said the suspect reportedly did not use a weapon or threats of violence in those two robberies.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect can call FBI’s Sacramento field office at 916-746-7000.
