Have you seen this man? FBI, Sacramento sheriff’s office search for homicide suspect
The FBI and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a Sacramento man accused of killing a man in early April.
The FBI says the man, who they have identified as 30-year-old Joshua Thomas Vaden, has plans to or has already entered Mexico, according to a news release. Vaden is a 5-foot-9 black man with brown hair and brown eyes, according to the FBI.
Vaden is accused of violently killing a man found in his south Sacramento home April 14. Officers responded to the 7000 block of Peevey Court after a family member called and said they had found the man dead.
A preliminary investigation into the incident revealed the man had been “the victim of a violent assault,” the release said. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office found Vaden to be a prime suspect in the case after an investigation.
Deputies are searching for a gray 2017 Ford Fiesta with Illinois license plates associated with the victim. Anyone with information about the vehicle is encouraged to call the department at 916-874-5115.
