Man accused of biting man’s face, assaulting another person in Lincoln, police say
Lincoln police arrested a man Monday night on suspicion of assaulting two people, one of whom he is accused of biting hard enough to rip skin off the victim’s face, authorities said.
Police contacted the suspect, identified as Keenan Pennington, in the 800 block of South Herold Avenue around 8:30 p.m., the Lincoln Police Department said Tuesday in a Facebook post.
A victim told arriving officers that “the known suspect bit him in the face resulting in the loss of skin (the visible injury appeared consistent with this description),” the police department wrote.
Officers found Pennington in a nearby outbuilding. The suspect physically resisted before officers took him into custody, police said.
The victim who reported being bitten was taken to a hospital, and a second victim later reported to police that they had also been assaulted by Pennington, according to the news release.
Pennington was booked into the South Placer jail. He faces charges of mayhem and resisting arrest, with bail set at $170,000.
