Teenage boy killed in early morning shooting, Stockton police say
A teenager was killed in Stockton on Sunday in an early morning shooting.
In a news release, the Stockton Police Department said a 17-year-old boy was shot to death near the intersection of Rose Street and Queen Avenue.
Officers responded to the area at 2:20 a.m. to find the boy suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the scene.
Stockton police detectives have not determined a motive and do not have any information regarding possible suspects.
