Authorities seek suspect in South Lake Tahoe road-rage stabbing
The South Lake Tahoe Police Department is looking for a suspect in a road-rage incident that left one driver in the hospital.
Police received reports around 9 p.m. Friday of an “intense road-rage incident” between two cars driving along Highway 50. Authorities arrived at the intersection of the highway and Tallac Avenue just as the drivers engaged in a fight.
The victim was stabbed and the suspect fled the scene, according to a police news release. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
The suspect was not apprehended and his whereabouts remain unknown.
