Man dies after being detained by private security in Arden Arcade, Sacramento sheriff say
A man died Saturday after private security guards tried to detain him, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place at 2700 block of Fulton Avenue in Arden Arcade on Saturday afternoon, the Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were at the scene, but the incident is not being criminally investigated at this time, authorities said. Sgt. Amar Gandhi, a spokesman for the Sheriff Office, said the incident did not meet the criteria for a criminal investigation.
Authorities said there are no further details to share at this time.
