A West Sacramento man was arrested Friday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a teen girl and furnishing her with drugs, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim said the 46-year-old man provided her with drugs multiple times between 2020 and 2023, according to a Monday news release from the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies did not disclose the girl’s age but said some of the acts occurred when she was 14 or 15.

The suspect faces six felony charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, 24 counts of charges related to oral copulation with a minor, six charges of lewd acts on a minor and four charges of an adult giving narcotics to a minor, the release said.

The man is being held in downtown Sacramento County Main Jail in lieu of $1.1 million bail, according to online jail records.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

The investigation into the incidents was ongoing, deputies said.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 916-874-5070 or the Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at 916-443-4357.
