Man wanted for felony warrant surrenders after Rancho Cordova standoff, sheriff says

An armed man who barricaded himself inside a Rancho Cordova home as Sacramento deputies tried to execute a warrant Tuesday has surrendered, authorities said.

Deputies were called to the 9900 block of Redstone Drive after a man refused to leave a residence, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office post on social media. The man was wanted on a felony warrant, the post said.

The Sheriff’s Office said in an update to social media that the suspect had surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody.
