Man hospitalized with multiple stab wounds. Davis police investigate

Davis Police Department officers were called to Sutter Davis Hospital after a stabbing victim arrived early Sunday morning.

Lt. John Davis said officers were dispatched to the hospital around 2:28 a.m. after a 22-year-old man came to the emergency room with multiple stab wounds.

Authorities determined the stabbing occurred in the 700 block of Third Street.

The victim was transported to UC Davis Medical Center, where he is receiving treatment for potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
