Man injured in afternoon shooting in Fair Oaks, Sacramento sheriff says
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office reported a shooting Saturday afternoon in Fair Oaks.
A manwas shot near the 8800 block of North Winding Way, according to Sgt. Alex Zakrzewski. Another person was detained at the scene; however, that person’s involvement is unclear, Zakrzewski said.
The person who was shot suffered at least one gunshot wound, according to Zakrzewski, and was sent to the hospital. His condition was unknown as of Saturday afternoon.
Neither the victim nor the detained person were identified by Zakrzewski.
