Dog has been ‘back and forth’ at Ohio shelter for years. ‘I want someone to commit’
For most of this 9-year-old dog’s life, he’s gone ”back and forth” between multiple adoptive families and an Ohio shelter.
After a recent failed adoption that was “no fault” of Zeke’s, the Ohio SPCA & Humane Society said, the ”smart” dog was returned to the shelter once again.
Now, Zeke is asking for “someone to commit to me,” the shelter said in the June 27 post.
“I am tired,” the post said. “I am not happy about being back at the shelter. … Please don’t make me wait here any longer.”
Zeke occasionally has high energy and loves to play with rope toys and go on walks, the shelter said. His “old bladder” needs a home where he can be let out frequently, though he is potty trained, the shelter said.
He’s also friendly toward other dogs and children.
“I deserve a home that will give me time, love and patience as I settle into a new environment once again,” the post said.
