A’s: Lawrie’s homer in 10th wins it

Brett Lawrie hits a leadoff homer in the 10th inning against reliever Dellin Betances, sending the A’s to a 4-3 victory over the New York Yankees. The A’s improve to 1-6 in extra innings this year. They had been the only major-league team without a win after the ninth.
