Current traffic conditions

State and local road officials are suggesting commuters in the central Sacramento region consider alternative modes of travel between April 22 and June 25 when a major rehabilitation project will be underway on the W-X section of Highway 50 downtown. Some eastbound freeway lanes will be closed April 22 to May 21. Some westbound lanes will be closed May 27 to June 25. Here is a Twitter feed to keep up with the Fix50 project and its consequences.
