Looking for an Easter feast? These 8 Sacramento-area restaurants have you covered

It’s too soon for a full resurrection of pre-coronavirus life. But as vaccination rates rise and restaurants’ dining capacity expands, the pandemic’s second Easter looks sunnier than the first.

A handful of local restaurants have put together Easter brunch or dinner packages, ranging from $25 sweets samples to $150 multi-course spreads. For guidance on how to celebrate safely during the pandemic, click here.

These local restaurants are offering Easter bundles:

Canon (1719 34th St., Sacramento): Six-course, $125 take-and-make brunch for four includes asparagus-strawberry salad, ham al pastor and smoked chicken strata. Pickup available from 12-2 p.m. Saturday.

Good Vibes Vegan Cafe (mobile): Plant-based takes on turkey, dressing, macaroni and cheese and more for groups of three ($85) or six ($150). Delivery available in Sacramento, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville and El Dorado Hills from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.

Kitchen428 Restaurant (428 1st St., Woodland): Takeout dinners range from $125-$150 for four or $65-$78 for two. Call (530) 661-0428 to place order by Thursday; pickup 3:30-6 p.m. Sunday.

Paul Martin’s American Grill (1455 Eureka Rd., Roseville): A $90, three-course dinner for two features prime rib and/or Alaskan halibut as the main. Pickup 2-9 p.m. Sunday.

Premium Donuts (8065 Elk Grove Florin Rd., Sacramento): A $25 “Easter Basket in a Box” with seasonal doughnuts and other treats is available for pickup from 8-11 a.m. Friday through Sunday.

The Firehouse Restaurant (1112 2nd St., Sacramento): Customers assemble their own three-course brunch from items such as fig bruschetta, crab cake Benedict and chocolate pot de creme. $55 per adult or $25 per kid; only available for dine-in Sunday.

Yolanda’s Tamales Factory (6885 Luther Dr., Sacramento): Tamales available for $30/dozen, or 20 tacos for $20 or $30 depending on meat. Pickup available 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

Zinfandel Grille (2384 Fair Oaks Blvd., Sacramento): Available for dine-in or takeout 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday; call (916) 485-7100 to preorder for to-go.
