Thanksgiving week weather in Sacramento
Good news if you’re tired of the dreary sky: Clouds will part for Thanksgiving, sweeping rain out and sunshine in for the holiday weekend.
“After Wednesday morning, we should have pretty dry weather through the end of the holiday weekend,” said Nathan Rick, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Temperatures will remain cool, with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Parking and construction at SMF
Holiday travel is also coinciding with construction at the Sacramento International Airport. The airport is building a new parking garage near Terminal B, which will add up to 5,500 parking spaces — but it won’t be ready until 2026.
In the meantime, the hourly lot, which was west of Terminal B, is closed permanently as crews build the new garage.
With construction in full swing, officials said to plan for extra time to account for traffic and noted travelers should expect to use the economy lots.
