Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputy Julie Robertson and an unidentified bystander were released from the hospital after the Rancho Cordova shooting that killed deputy Mark Stasyuk, Sgt. Shaun Hampton said Tuesday.

Robertson, 28, was shot in the arm during the Monday confrontation with Anton Lemon Moore outside a Pep Boys store. Robertson and Stasyuk were responding to a routine call for service after employees who reported a disruption at the store, Sheriff Scott Jones said.

The two were on patrol in Rancho Cordova through a contract between the city and Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.

The bystander was shot in the back and hospitalized during the incident. The Sheriff’s Department said in a release Monday that the bystander was shot “presumably by the suspect.”
