Sacramento sheriff’s deputies searching neighborhood for suspect who shot woman
UPDATE: Two suspects in custody following shooting near Watt and Whitney avenues.
Authorities on Monday afternoon were in Sacramento’s Arden Arcade neighborhood looking for a suspect who shot a woman, sheriff’s officials said.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office was asking residents to avoid the area of Watt and Whitney avenues. Sheriff’s deputies have created a perimeter to search for the shooting suspect.
The woman was shot in the upper body, sheriff’s officials said, but her injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
