Sacramento County coroner identifies man killed in Sloughhouse motorcycle crash

Authorities in Sacramento County have released the name of a motorcycle rider who died in a crash with a sedan Saturday morning near Sloughhouse.

The Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Patrick Gerard McNamara, a 60-year-old Sacramento resident.

According to authorities, McNamara was killed in a collision with a dark-colored sedan shortly after 10:50 a.m. Saturday on Ione Road near Meiss Road in southeastern Sacramento County. All lanes were blocked for some time after the crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. No further details have been released.
