Boy dies after shooting at Summerfield Park in West Sacramento
A boy from Sacramento died Wednesday after a shooting at Summerfield Park in West Sacramento, police said.
The shooting was reported shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday at Summerfield Park located at 2950 Linden Road, just west of Jefferson Boulevard in West Sacramento.
In an update, police said a “male juvenile from Sacramento has passed away after being transported to the hospital.”
The Yolo County Coroner’s Office identified the teen as Adrian Carter.
Police announced they had made an arrest of a 19-year-old man as a suspect on Thursday.
